The "Dachnaya" pumpkin variety is an early-maturing vegetable with bright yellow fruits, decorated with dark green stripes and having an egg-shaped form. Fruit mass reaches 3-4 kg, and the light orange flesh differs with good taste qualities and a pleasant vanilla aroma. Thanks to short vines up to 1.5 m long, this variety is convenient to grow on small dacha plots.

Growing "Dachnaya" pumpkin does not require special difficulties. For normal ripening, it is recommended to leave 2-3 fruits on the plant and pinch off the vines. It is important to ensure proper care for the plant, including fertilizers and regulating fruiting by pinching. To improve fruit ripening in conditions of high humidity in autumn, flat stones can be placed under the pumpkins. Harvest is carried out before the onset of frost.

Pumpkin is a short-day culture, which contributes to an early start of fruiting. Sowing seeds is done directly into the ground after thorough soil preparation, including fertilizer application and deep tillage. For successful growing, it is important to observe crop rotation, returning pumpkin to the previous planting site no earlier than five years. This pumpkin variety is suitable for growing on dacha plots due to its compactness and high yield.
