FLOCKED SANYA — a mid-season bush variety of dill from Chelyabinsk selection, intended for cultivation both in open and protected ground. Plants are compact and highly foliated, with large rhomboid leaves of a rich green color. Leaves are juicy, tender, and have a distinct spicy aroma, making the greens particularly valuable for culinary use. The mass of one plant reaches up to 150 grams, ensuring stable and high yield.
The variety is characterized by slowed stem formation and prolonged vegetation, which allows the greens to remain fresh after cutting for a longer time. All parts of the plant are rich in essential oils, vitamins, flavonoids, as well as important mineral substances such as potassium, calcium, phosphorus, and iron. Thanks to these qualities, the dill FLOCKED SANYA has high aromaticity and excellent taste characteristics.
In agronomy, it is recommended to sow in several terms at a depth of 0.5-1 cm with a distance between rows of 5-10 cm, or with random continuous sowing with peat mulching. Care includes timely irrigation and weeding, and greens are cut as they regrow. Fresh product collected in dry weather can maintain its consumer qualities in a household refrigerator for up to two weeks. Dill is widely used for drying, freezing, preparing seasonings, as well as for pickling and marinating.
