Tulip Jetfire

Sophisticated Fringed Beauty for Your Garden

The «Etfira» tulip is a distinguished representative of the fringed tulip class, celebrated by gardeners for its unique petal texture. As a mid-season flowering variety, it serves as a perfect bridge between early and late bulbous plants in spring landscapes, offering a reliable performance every season.

Resilience and Phytosanitary Profile

What sets «Etfira» apart is its robust genetic resistance. Unlike many decorative varieties that demand intense fungicide management, this hybrid exhibits remarkable resilience against common pathogens:

• Downy mildew (Peronospora): effectively contained by inherent plant defense mechanisms.
• Olive leaf spot and powdery mildew: the cultivar maintains health even under conditions of high humidity.
• Cucumber mosaic virus: demonstrates low susceptibility, which is vital for maintaining the purity of the stock.

Landscaping and Application

Characterized by a deep red hue and a short stature, «Etfira» is an ideal solution for front-border planting, container gardening, and compact displays. The distinctive fringed petal edges give the flower a sophisticated, crystalline appearance that captivates observers in close-up settings. Because of its low-growing habit, it is particularly useful in areas where wind resistance and structural compactness are required.

Choosing «Etfira» means opting for a balance between elite visual appeal and low-maintenance cultivation. It is a preferred choice for landscape designers who aim to minimize labor inputs while ensuring a high-impact, professional aesthetic in garden beds.
