The leaves are dark green and lobed, and the crown does not require shaping pruning, which simplifies care. Chrysanthemum is suitable for both garden cultivation and potting. Flowering begins in July-August and continues until autumn, with proper care, the plant provides abundant and prolonged flowering. For successful growth and development, Chrysanthemum prefers sunny locations with fertile, light, and well-drained soil, avoiding waterlogged areas and low-lying spots. The plant is moisture-loving but requires moderate watering, especially during dry periods, and it is important to use settled or rainwater to avoid root rot. Chrysanthemum Cosmic can be overwintered outdoors provided proper preparation is made. The plant is frost-resistant but dislikes waterlogging, so it should be covered after the first stable frosts and when the soil has slightly frozen. For planting, it is recommended to choose sheltered locations from wind, such as the southern side of a house or building, to avoid drafts and maintain the decorative appearance of leaves and flowers.
