Tulip Jimmy

Stability and Protection in the Spring Cycle

The «Yimm» tulip belongs to the popular Triumph class, valued in professional floriculture for its balance of endurance and aesthetics. This variety is chosen by agricultural enterprises working on both cut flowers and landscape projects where predictable results are required with minimal fungicide interventions.

Practical Applications and Agrotechnics

• Forced Production: Due to its mid-season blooming period, «Yimm» fits perfectly into conveyor-belt planting schemes. Its dense, orange-colored cups withstand transportation exceptionally well, making them ideal for commercial floral arrangements.
• Landscape Design: The medium stem height provides excellent resistance to lodging against strong spring winds. The variety is well-suited for mixed borders or creating striking color accents in parks and public gardens.

A key advantage of this hybrid is its pronounced genetic resistance to soil-borne pathogens. In greenhouse conditions, where high humidity increases the risk of root rot and Fusarium, «Yimm» demonstrates superior bulb survival rates. This reduces material loss and optimizes pesticide costs.

When planning, keep in mind that maintaining a controlled temperature regime during the active growth phase is essential to achieve the ideal stem length. The variety responds well to timely nitrogen-potassium fertilization, which enhances the intensity of the orange petal pigment.
