Flowering Architecture of Snowboard

The Snowboard variety belongs to the Triumph tulip class, which dictates its core technical feature: the integration of a rigid, robust stem with a classic goblet-shaped flower. Unlike early bulbous varieties, this hybrid possesses increased petal density, a critical factor for maintaining structural integrity during late-season temperature fluctuations.

Agronomic Metrics

• Type: Triumph (hybrid).
• Flowering Period: late.
• Color: pure white (no impurities).
• Growth: tall stems with excellent structural strength.

The engineering success of this cultivar lies in the balance between flower stalk height and root system vitality. Due to its late vegetation cycle, the plant accumulates higher sugar reserves in the bulb, which significantly improves lodging resistance. The snow-white coloration is achieved through the absence of anthocyanins in the petal epidermis; combined with a dense tissue structure, this allows the bud to retain its shape effectively without distortion from wind or precipitation.

In practical application, Snowboard exhibits high planting uniformity. This means that at a standard planting depth of 10-15 cm, all plants emerge and bloom within a narrow window. Such synchronicity is essential for both commercial greenhouse production and large-scale landscape design where visual consistency is the primary requirement.
