Tulip RASPBERRY BELL

Structural Integrity and Growth Mechanics of 'Malinovyy Zvon'

The 'Malinovyy Zvon' tulip, produced by FANCA (originated by Av Du Capitaine N Tchorere 80270 Airaines France), is engineered for high-performance floriculture. This variety represents a precise selection process focused on mechanical durability and aesthetic stability, making it a reliable choice for commercial cut flower production.

Technical Specifications and Performance

• Bud Morphology: The classic cup-shaped flower (8–10 cm in diameter) is designed for optimal handling and transport. The structural density of the petals ensures that the bloom maintains its geometry even under changing environmental conditions.
• Stem Engineering: With a height ranging from 55–65 cm, the plant provides the necessary leverage for a professional display. The stem is characterized by high stiffness, which is essential to prevent bending under the weight of the robust flower head.
• Color Saturation: The intense red pigmentation is a result of advanced breeding, offering high visual appeal in both cut form and garden settings.

Agronomic Requirements

Maximizing the yield of 'Malinovyy Zvon' requires careful management of solar exposure. While the variety is adaptable, it thrives in direct sunlight, which promotes a shorter, more resilient stem and deeper color intensity. In partial shade, the plant may exhibit increased stem elongation, which can influence its stability. FANCA emphasizes that proper drainage is critical for this variety; the cup-shaped architecture demands a stable moisture regime to prevent rot and ensure that the bulbous base remains healthy throughout the vegetative cycle.
