Tulip "Oriental Beauty" – one of the earliest-flowering varieties, belonging to the Kaufmanniana (or Greigii) group and characterized by a compact form with a height of 15–25 cm. The plant has a dense base with spreading dark green leaves adorned with dark reddish-brown stripes, creating a bright contrast with the large (8–10 cm) reddish-pink flowers. Buds in the form of individual droplets resemble water lily inflorescences and are located on short stems 15–30 cm long.
"Oriental Beauty" is distinguished by a long flowering period – from two to four weeks, which makes it especially valuable for the early spring decorative program. The variety is recommended for planting in groups of five or more bulbs to enhance the effect of a dense bushy look. At planting, the planting depth is 2–3 bulb diameters, and the soil should be loose, fertile, and drained with a neutral pH.
Care for the plant is simple: regular watering during the active growth period, feeding with mineral fertilizers without chlorine 3–4 times per season.
