Tulip GIFT FOR IRENE

A Professional Choice for Cut Flower Production

The 'Podarok Irine' tulip, developed by the Nikitsky Botanical Garden, is a variety engineered for professional cut flower growers. It excels in commercial environments where consistency is key. The plant reaches a predictable height of 55–65 cm, providing strong, sturdy stems that are essential for high-end floral arrangements and professional bouquets.

Cultivation and Performance

This variety demands high light intensity to reach its full potential. When planning your cultivation cycle, prioritize solar access—both in open fields and greenhouse settings. Without adequate light, you risk stem weakness and a reduction in the vibrancy of its signature orange-red pigments. Management of this variety is straightforward for those who can control the light spectrum.

• Commercial Durability: The variety boasts excellent post-harvest longevity and transport tolerance. Its petals maintain their integrity through the supply chain, ensuring it reaches the end customer in top condition.
• Neutral Profile: Being fragrance-free, this tulip is a safe bet for large events, corporate offices, and sensitive environments, avoiding the issues associated with strong scents in enclosed spaces.
• Structural Integrity: The stems are impressively upright and resistant to lodging, which significantly reduces labor costs during the harvesting and grading stages.

For growers, 'Podarok Irine' acts as a reliable, high-yield asset. It requires no exotic management, only strict adherence to light and water schedules. It is a predictable, low-maintenance variety that delivers a professional-grade product suitable for mass market distribution or boutique sales alike.
