Tulip Paul Richter

Technical Specifications of the Paul Richter Tulip

The Paul Richter tulip is a classic representative of the Triumph class, valued in professional floriculture for its reliability and structural integrity. The technical merit of this variety lies in the balance between its robust floral architecture and a high degree of biological resistance to key pathogens, which is essential for minimizing losses in intensive cultivation cycles.

Disease Resistance and Fito-Immunity

A core strength of the Paul Richter cultivar is its genetic resistance to a broad spectrum of soil-borne and airborne diseases. This trait reduces the need for frequent chemical interventions. The variety is highly resilient against:

• Alternaria and Phomopsis (preserving leaf surface integrity);
• Fusarium and White rot (ensuring the health and longevity of the bulb);
• Peronospora (maintaining plant vigor even under high humidity conditions).

This natural defense system simplifies phytosanitary management and reduces overall production costs, making it a reliable choice for diverse growing environments.

Agronomic Performance

Classified as a mid-season bloomer, Paul Richter allows for precise harvest scheduling in commercial operations. The plant reaches a medium height, providing an optimal strength-to-flexibility ratio that allows it to withstand environmental stresses without the need for additional mechanical support. The vivid red color of the petals is highly resistant to fading under direct sunlight, ensuring the aesthetic value of the flower remains intact throughout its blooming stage.
