Tulip Bravour

The Bravoor Tulip: Reliable Performance for Commercial Forcing

The Bravoor variety, belonging to the Triumph class, is a staple for growers prioritizing predictable results. Its middle-season flowering makes it an essential component for production schedules, especially when managing high-density greenhouse environments to meet market deadlines.

Disease Resistance as a Competitive Edge

In commercial cultivation, managing phytosanitary conditions is the key to profitability. Bravoor is widely recognized for its robust natural immunity, which significantly reduces the reliance on heavy fungicide programs:

• Verticillium and Downy Mildew: The variety exhibits strong resistance to these common pathogens, ensuring healthy root systems and pristine foliage.
• Phomopsis and Phoma: Built-in resistance to these specific diseases prevents stem decay and petal spotting, protecting the final value of the crop.

Practical Application and Logistics

With its medium stem height and vibrant, iconic red petals, Bravoor is a professional favorite for bouquet manufacturing. The flowers possess excellent durability, maintaining their shape after cutting. For operations managers, the uniformity of Bravoor’s development is a significant advantage—it simplifies harvesting operations and reduces labor costs. Furthermore, its sturdy stems ensure excellent post-harvest performance and shelf life during transit, making it a reliable asset for floral distributors aiming for minimal waste.
