Gladiolus MALIKA

Elegance and Grace: The Pink Signature of Andrey Gromov

The 'Malika' gladiolus is a breeding discovery for those who value architectural precision and reliability in their flowers. The breeder, Andrey Nikolayevich Gromov, created a plant that stands out against the backdrop of common small-flowered or overly demanding varieties. This is not just a decorative flower, but a stable landscape element capable of maintaining its form even in challenging weather conditions.

Key Specifications

• Height: An impressive 140–160 cm, making it a perfect vertical dominant for formal flower beds.
• Flower: 15–17 cm in diameter with 18–20 buds per spike, ensuring a dense, lush inflorescence.
• Aesthetics: A complex pink coloration with multicolored hues and a pronounced ruffled texture on the petal edges.

The main strength of 'Malika' lies in the balance between opulence and resilience. Unlike many large-flowered hybrids that require constant staking, 'Malika' demonstrates enviable resistance to wind and rain. The ruffled petals give the flower a "lace-like" texture that looks particularly stunning when viewed up close in a garden.

Who is this variety for?

'Malika' is ideal for professional gardeners and property owners aiming to create sophisticated, high-impact flower displays. Thanks to its long blooming period, the plant retains its decorative appeal for an extended time without losing petal freshness. If your goal is to create a "living canvas" with noble pink tones that do not fade or fall apart under rain, this variety will serve as a reliable foundation for your garden.
