Gladiolus Stryapukha

Aesthetics and Resilience in Pink

The 'Stryapukha' gladiolus, bred by Andrey Gromov, is a choice for those seeking a balance between delicate beauty and a hardy nature capable of withstanding unpredictable climates. Unlike many varieties focused solely on show-winning looks, this hybrid demonstrates remarkable resilience against weather challenges. The emphasis here is on reliability: even in strong winds or rain, the plant maintains its verticality and the integrity of the flower spike.

Why Professionals Choose This Variety

• Visual Expression: The delicate pink hue combined with pronounced petal ruffling gives the flower volume and a vivid appearance, which is highly prized in floristry.
• Longevity: The flowering period lasts 60–65 days, a significant metric that allows you to enjoy the results for a long time without needing frequent replacement of planting material.
• Spike Density: 18–20 buds on a single stem ensure a dense display, making 'Stryapukha' blooms perfect for creating premium bouquets.

Strengths and Considerations: The main advantage is high decorative value with minimal risk of harvest loss. The long flowering period makes the variety a profitable acquisition for commercial cut-flower production. Among its limitations, it is worth noting the strict requirement for proper agricultural practices: like all gladioli bred by Gromov, 'Stryapukha' demands fertile soil and regular irrigation, without which the large, ruffled flower cannot fully reach its potential.

This variety is an optimal solution for both collectors and floral business owners who need a predictable, visually striking, and high-performance product.
