Tulip Mini Star

Stability and Aesthetics of the Triumph Class

The 'Mini Star' tulip is a choice for those seeking a balance between aesthetics and predictable maintenance. Belonging to the Triumph class, this variety retains the classic cup-shaped silhouette that stands up well to unpredictable spring weather. Its key advantage is the vivid yellow hue of the petals, which does not fade in the sun, maintaining its brightness throughout the blooming season.

Health Without Excessive Fungicides

One of the main challenges in tulip cultivation is their susceptibility to fungal diseases. 'Mini Star' stands out from many alternatives due to its inherent resistance to three major threats:

• Anthracnose: The variety shows high resistance, helping to avoid leaf spotting during prolonged rainy periods.
• Downy Mildew: The dense tissue structure of the plant minimizes the risk of spreading this pathogen.
• Powdery Mildew: Even in high humidity, 'Mini Star' maintains healthy foliage without requiring frequent treatments.

Who Is This Variety For?

Its medium height makes it an ideal option for landscape groupings and forcing. It does not lean or "collapse" during wind gusts, a common issue with taller varieties. If you plan to decorate a flowerbed or prepare cut flowers for mid-season, 'Mini Star' is a reliable tool. It is a true "workhorse" for professional floriculture, where not just the visual effect, but also the viability of every bulb is crucial.

Despite its medium height, the variety has enough potential to form dense, lush arrangements. It acts as an excellent focal point in a spring garden, working perfectly in tandem with early-blooming perennials.
