Tulip Lefebvre Favorite, also known as Red Emperor, is one of the most popular and recognizable varieties of the Foster group. This mid-season tulip was bred at the beginning of the 20th century and remains highly popular among gardeners due to its vibrant color and elegant flower shape. The buds have a elongated shape with a bell-shaped corolla of bright red color and a dark center, which is complemented by a yellowish center, light-purple stamens, and yellowish-green filaments when blooming.
