Phlox DANDELION

Stable Blooms and Reliable Performance

The «Petrushka» phlox is a result of selective breeding at the Botanical Garden-Institute of the FEB RAS, led by Natalia Pavlovna Pavlyuk. When selecting this cultivar for landscape projects, owners can rely on its robust genetic heritage, which ensures stability under varying climatic conditions.

Maintenance and Operational Efficiency

As a perennial, «Petrushka» represents a long-term investment for any garden bed. With a flowering duration of 45–60 days, it offers a predictable performance window, allowing for precise planning of seasonal flower rotations. Each flower measures 2–3 cm in diameter, forming a dense, uniform structure that stands up well to external elements.

• Maintenance Routine: The cultivar requires minimal intervention; simple deadheading of spent blooms is sufficient to keep the plant looking sharp throughout the season.
• Durability: Developed in the challenging Russian climate, this variety is resilient to temperature fluctuations, reducing the need for constant protective measures.
• Usage: Primarily designed for flower beds, its compact growth habit makes it an excellent candidate for both borders and mass planting schemes.

For the gardener, «Petrushka» eliminates the need for frequent site rework. Proper irrigation and standard fertilization schedules are all that is required to maintain the plant's decorative integrity throughout its peak blooming period.
