Aster Kassandra

The Astra variety Cassandra is an annual plant with a narrow pyramidal bush-bouquet up to 80 cm tall. The inflorescences of this variety are densely double, up to 10 cm in diameter, with neatly arranged petals, giving the flowers an original and attractive appearance. More than a dozen such inflorescences are simultaneously open on one bush, making the plant particularly impressive during the mid-season flowering period.

This variety of Astra is versatile in application: it is excellent for decorating flowerbeds and is a valuable material for cutting, which makes it widely used in creating bouquets and floral compositions. Cassandra is resistant to fusarium, which increases its reliability and longevity during cultivation. For planting, the seedling method is recommended: seedlings are pricked out after the first pair of true leaves appears, and they are transplanted to a permanent location at an age of 30-35 days. Direct sowing of seeds into the open ground in spring or under winter at a depth of 0.5-1 cm is also possible. Plants require regular watering, weeding, loosening, and fertilizing for full development.

In addition, the Astra Cassandra is ideal for home growing and interior decoration. It can decorate window sills, bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, kitchens, and even bathrooms, filling the room with a pleasant aroma and creating a festive atmosphere. Due to its beauty and versatility, this variety is an excellent choice for both gardeners and indoor plant enthusiasts.
