Tulip Zombie

Securing Early Market Entry

The 'Zombie' Fosteriana tulip is a professional-grade hybrid designed for greenhouses that prioritize early-season turnover. By choosing this early-flowering variety, producers can effectively target the high-demand period at the start of the floral season, ensuring a competitive advantage through timely supply.

Phytosanitary Resilience for Production Stability

In high-density cultivation, the risk of disease is the primary threat to profitability. 'Zombie' minimizes these risks through inherent genetic resistance, reducing the need for aggressive chemical interventions:

• Wilt Protection: High tolerance to both Verticillium and Fusarium wilt ensures consistency in crop yield, even in soil-based production systems.
• Virus Resistance: Proven resistance to Tobacco Mosaic Virus and Cladosporium significantly lowers plant mortality rates and simplifies management protocols.

Operational Efficiency

With its medium-height growth habit, 'Zombie' is exceptionally well-suited for crate forcing and greenhouse environments where space management is critical. The distinct pink and white coloration offers high market appeal, while the sturdy stems ensure the blooms withstand mechanical handling and transport. For farm managers, the primary appeal of this hybrid lies in its predictability; the growth cycle is uniform, allowing for precise scheduling of harvesting operations to align perfectly with peak retail dates.
