RAMZAY

Ramzay is a winter triticale grain variety developed for agricultural use. It is characterized by early maturity and high resistance to lodging, ensuring crop stability. The weight of 1000 grains ranges from 40 to 47.6 grams, while plant height varies between 70-95 cm. The grain is light red in color, elongated, and of medium size, making it convenient for processing and use in various food industries.

The Ramzay variety ear is white, 11-12 cm long, fully awned and non-hairy with a pronounced waxy coating. The variety is highly resistant to root rot and viral dwarfism, as well as weak susceptibility to brown rust, powdery mildew, septoria, and ergot. These qualities make Ramzay a reliable choice for agronomists aiming for high-quality and healthy crops.

A feature of the variety is the high carotenoid content in the grain — from 398 to 461 µg/%, which significantly exceeds the indicators of many other varieties. Thanks to this, Ramzay is widely used in the production of pasta, compound feeds, as well as in confectionery and bakery industries. High carotenoid content improves the nutritional value of products and promotes the development of technologies for processing triticale into high-quality cereals and pasta.
