Tomato YELLOW CREAM

Siberian Breeding Excellence for Professional Growers

The "Slivka Zheltaia" (Yellow Plum) tomato is a testament to the rigorous research conducted by the Central Siberian Botanical Garden of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Developed by experts including Yury Fotev and Sergey Kondakov, this variety was engineered to thrive in challenging climates, prioritizing high stress-tolerance and consistent reliability. Currently managed by "Agrofirma Semena Altaya," it stands as a cornerstone variety for producers seeking a robust, high-yielding crop.

Agronomic Performance and Market Positioning

As an indeterminate plant, this variety is perfectly suited for greenhouse environments, allowing growers to maximize vertical space and yield output. In high-intensity systems, the variety boasts an impressive productivity potential of 160–190 tons per hectare.

• Fruit Specifications: Produces uniform, plum-shaped fruits weighing 80–100 grams, a size highly valued for both fresh market sales and high-quality processing.
• Disease Resistance: A key feature is its natural resistance to late blight (Phytophthora), significantly reducing the necessity for intensive chemical treatment programs.
• Shelf-Life and Logistics: The variety is a market leader in post-harvest longevity. Fruits remain in marketable condition for over 30 days after harvest, making them ideal for long-distance transportation and extended retail availability.

The reputation of "Slivka Zheltaia" rests on its perfect balance between commercial durability and aesthetic appeal. The vibrant yellow color combined with a firm flesh structure ensures that the fruit remains visually striking and physically intact, even after rigorous handling.
