Tomato Waterplay is an early-maturing and high-yielding hybrid, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in protected environments. The plant is vigorous, with an indeterminate growth habit, reaching up to 2 meters in height and requiring support. The period from germination to the start of fruiting is approximately 45-85 days, enabling an early harvest. Plants predominantly exhibit female flowering and are resistant to several diseases, including tomato mosaic virus, verticillium wilt, fusarium, and bacterial spot. Tomato Waterplay fruits have elongated-cylindrical or heart-shaped forms, featuring a bright yellow or orange saturated color and a smooth, glossy skin. The weight of a single fruit varies from 15 to 95 grams depending on growing conditions and ripening stage. Fruits are borne in simple and compound clusters, with 8 to 28 fruits per cluster. The fruits are firm, resistant to cracking and yellowing, and possess a sweet dessert-like flavor with fruity notes, making them ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for whole-fruit canning and pickling.
