Tomato Volume F1

The Dutch Standard for Cherry Tomatoes

Breeding programs from the Dutch company Nunhems have consistently set the benchmark in professional horticulture. The 'Volum F1' tomato is a determinate hybrid that has firmly established its niche as a mid-season outdoor variety, perfectly suited for both the fresh market and industrial processing.

Agronomic Advantages

The core strength of this hybrid lies in its balance between high productivity and low-maintenance requirements. With a 100–120 day maturity window, it thrives across various climatic zones. The plant features a robust genetic defense system against pathogens, a critical factor for farmers aiming to minimize pesticide applications:

• Complete resistance to Verticillium and Fusarium wilt.
• Genetic resistance against Stemphylium.

The 'Volum F1' fruits are classic cherry tomatoes, weighing 20–40 grams. Their round shape and vibrant red color ensure high consumer appeal, while the firm skin provides excellent transportability. A standout feature of this hybrid is its shelf life: the harvested produce maintains commercial quality for over 30 days, offering growers greater flexibility in their sales logistics.

Market Value

Opting for Nunhems means opting for consistent results. 'Volum F1' is chosen for its stable yields, even in conditions where other varieties might succumb to environmental stress. It is a reliable agricultural asset that minimizes crop loss risks while ensuring high uniformity across every cluster.
