Tomato Jangsi F1 — an early indeterminate hybrid developed by the Dutch seed company Hazera (Vilmorin) for cultivation in open ground across various agroclimatic regions of Ukraine. The plant is tall, reaching 2-3 meters in height, well-balanced and evenly laden with fruit. It has a strong root system and well-developed leaf apparatus, ensuring resistance to adverse weather conditions and immunity to such solanaceous diseases as verticillium wilt, fusarium, and tomato mosaic virus. Recommended planting density is 2.4–2.8 plants per square meter.
The fruits of tomato Jangsi have a plum-like shape and a deep pink color, with an average weight of 160–180 grams. They feature a juicy, succulent structure, lack a green shoulder, and are not prone to cracking either in field conditions or under thermal processing. Fruit set begins as early as 70–75 days after transplanting, allowing for an early harvest. Each branch produces 6–7 fruits, contributing to high yield.
The hybrid is easy to grow under various conditions and suitable for fresh market use, as well as for canning and processing. Thanks to its flavor qualities and stress resistance, tomato Jangsi F1 is an excellent choice for farmers and gardeners seeking a high-quality and stable harvest.
