Tomato Guyana F1 is a medium-early hybrid of indeterminate type of the 'San Marzano' variety, maturing in 70-75 days after transplanting. The fruits have a distinctive pepper-like shape, length of about 12-14 cm, and weight from 100 to 170 g. In full maturity, they acquire a rich red color, dense flesh, and good storability, making them ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for drying, sauce preparation, and tomato paste. This variety is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses during spring and summer. Guyana F1 is characterized by high yield and disease resistance, enabling stable harvests even under unfavorable growing conditions. The seeds of this hybrid have high germination rates and do not require additional treatment, although they may be used with growth stimulators. The seed packaging is hermetically sealed, protecting against moisture, fungi, and insects, and is accompanied by a quality certificate from the producer Rijk Zwaan (Netherlands). For successful cultivation, it is recommended to use seedling method with transplanting seedlings into peat-leaf pots or special cups with nutrient mix. During transplanting, it is important to plant the seedlings up to the cotyledons and carefully trim part of the main root to stimulate root system development. The temperature regime for seedlings should be maintained within 15-18°C during the day and 10-12°C at night, with supplemental lighting to extend the light period to 12-14 hours. During cultivation, three feedings with complex fertilizers are conducted, alternating with watering with clean water to maintain plant health and ensure high-quality harvest.
