Tomato Mechtalin

Tomato Mечталин — this is an early-maturing indeterminate hybrid, intended for cultivation in protected ground. From germination to the beginning of ripening, it takes about 105-110 days, and from transplanting 65-day-old seedlings — 40-45 days. The plant is highly leafy with short internodes, forms one or two stems. The first flower bud is located above the ninth leaf, which contributes to the formation of clusters with 6-7 large fruits weighing 180-220 grams. The fruits have a round shape, red color without green spot at the base and salad type, making them attractive and convenient for use fresh. Tomato Mечталин fruits have strong but not rigid skin, allowing them to retain their integrity during transport and suitable for salad preparation. The taste of the tomatoes is juicy, sweet and mild with good texture, making them ideal for dietary nutrition. The hybrid is characterized by a prolonged fruiting period, ensuring a stable harvest over an extended period. The recommended planting density is 3 plants per square meter, with yields reaching 16-18 kg per square meter. Mечталин exhibits high resistance to major tomato diseases, including blossom and root rot, brown spot, tomato mosaic virus, bacterial leaf spot, and bacterial wilting. These qualities make the hybrid a reliable choice for cultivation under various climatic conditions, including periods of low and high temperatures. Due to its characteristics and resistance, tomato Mечталин is suitable both for commercial cultivation and private gardens, ensuring a stable and high-quality harvest.
