Torero

Tomato Torero F1 is a medium-early indeterminate hybrid intended for cultivation in glass and plastic greenhouses. It is a medium-statured, tall plant with a moderate generative growth type, characterized by an open form and ease of care. This hybrid tolerates insufficient lighting during the winter-spring period, making it versatile for various greenhouse climate conditions.

The fruits of tomato Torero have round or flat-round shape with very smooth surface, red color with white gloss, without green spot at the calyx. They are dense, uniform, and resistant to cracking, ensuring high marketability and long storage up to 14 days. The average fruit weight ranges from 220 to 280 grams, corresponding to the bif-tomato category. The taste is good, making them attractive for fresh market.

Hybrid Torero exhibits high resistance to major tomato diseases, including tomato mosaic virus (ToMV), Torrado virus, Fusarium and Verticillium wilt, as well as various forms of Fusarium and other pathogens. It does not form double clusters and possesses high tolerance to blossom end rot, which enhances yield stability and product quality.
