Tomato DELTA RI

Premium cherry tomatoes from Dutch breeders

«Deltari» by Rijk Zwaan is a benchmark of indeterminate cherry tomatoes that has firmly established itself in greenhouse production due to its consistency and stable product quality. Developed by Rijk Zwaan experts, this hybrid is tailored for professional growers supplying the HoReCa sector and premium retail chains.

Agronomic features and resistance

Choosing «Deltari» is justified by the plant's high productivity and reliability. Under protected growing conditions, the hybrid exhibits an excellent balance between vegetative growth and fruit set. Thanks to the robust immunity engineered by Dutch breeders, growers can minimize crop loss risks associated with the most dangerous Solanaceae diseases:

• Complete resistance to Tomato Mosaic Virus (ToMV).
• High tolerance to Fusarium wilt (Fol:0,1) and Verticillium wilt (Va:0, Vd:0).
• Resistance to Leaf Mold (Ff:A-E), which is critical for long-cycle cultivation in high-humidity environments.

Harvest profile

«Deltari» is a short-cycle tomato (up to 90 days), ensuring rapid greenhouse turnover. The fruits feature a uniform round shape and weigh between 20-40 grams. Their deep, vibrant red color and firm skin make the tomatoes attractive to consumers and ensure excellent transportability without losing marketability. The optimal size and dessert flavor make «Deltari» ideal for culinary garnishing, salads, and retail in premium packaging.
