Tomato Stardust

Reliability and Large Fruit Potential

For vegetable growers aiming for heavy, commercial-grade tomato yields, Agro-firma AS offers the indeterminate variety "Zirochka". Unlike many early-maturing hybrids that often sacrifice fruit size for speed of ripening, this variety masterfully balances growth duration (90–100 days) with fruit weight, consistently exceeding 200 grams.

Agronomic Features and Performance

The indeterminate growth habit implies unlimited stem development, making this variety an ideal choice for greenhouses and open field cultivation, provided it is staked correctly. High growth vigor requires the farmer to prune to 1–2 stems, allowing the plant to concentrate nutrients into fruit development. Its round shape and classic red color make this tomato highly recognizable, while the firmness of the flesh ensures excellent transportability, a rare trait for large-fruited varieties.

Strengths and Specific Requirements

• Advantages: Stable yields, excellent taste, and market appeal. With a weight of 200+ grams, these tomatoes are versatile for both fresh consumption and processing into juice or paste.
• Care specifics: Since "Zirochka" maintains active growth throughout the season, consistent irrigation and balanced nutrition are critical. The plant responds well to potassium fertilizers during the fruit-set phase, which directly impacts fruit sizing and density.

"Zirochka" is the choice for growers who prefer consistency over the unpredictability of hybrids requiring specialized conditions. It is a reliable Ukrainian variety that, with proper agronomic practices, provides a stable harvest throughout the entire growing season.
