POET

POET — a medium-early indeterminate tomato hybrid that starts fruiting on day 105-110 after germination. The plant has medium to strong foliage, with short and narrow leaves positioned at a sharp angle to the stem. The first flower cluster forms above the 9th leaf, and subsequent clusters appear every three leaves. The clusters are simple and compact, containing 5 to 7 round red fruits weighing 120-130 grams.

Tomatoes of this hybrid have a very pleasant taste with a slight acidity, making them suitable for fresh consumption and whole-fruit canning. It is recommended to train the plant into two stems for optimal growth and yield. Planting density is 4 plants per square meter, which contributes to high yield — over 22 kg per square meter.

POET exhibits high resistance to major tomato diseases, including tomato mosaic virus (ToMV), cladosporiosis (Ff), fusarium wilt (Fol), and nematodes (Ma, Mi). These traits make the hybrid a reliable choice for cultivation under various conditions, ensuring a stable and high-quality harvest.
