Tomato Semco 101 F1 is a medium-early hybrid with a ripening period of about 110 days. The plant is determinate, strong, compact, and well-leafed, which ensures ease of cultivation and maintenance. The first flower cluster forms above the fifth leaf, promoting even fruit development. The hybrid is characterized by high cold and drought resistance, as well as the ability to set fruit well at high temperatures, making it versatile for various climatic conditions.
The fruits of tomato Semco 101 have a cylindrical or round shape, smooth surface, and deep red color. The weight of one fruit is approximately 95–100 grams. Tomatoes are multi-chambered, dense, with excellent taste, making them attractive for fresh consumption as well as processing. The dry matter content in the fruits is 5.7–5.9%, vitamin C – 15–16 mg%, sugars – 2.3–2.5%, acidity – 0.4%. Thanks to these indicators, the tomatoes are suitable for drying, whole-fruit canning, and sauce production, for example, for pizza.
The hybrid shows high resistance to a range of diseases, including tomato brown spot virus (TSWV), tomato mosaic virus (ToMV), fusarium, verticillium, and gall nematodes. The fruit appearance and transportability are at a high level, ensuring the preservation and attractiveness of the product during transportation and storage. The yield of tomato Semco 101 exceeds 10 kg per square meter, making it a profitable choice for commercial cultivation.
