Tomato ROUZSTAR

ROUZSTAR — early indeterminate tomato hybrid intended for the fresh market. The fruits are plum-shaped mini-plums, pink in color, weighing 12–15 grams. They feature high quality, uniformity, and excellent flavor with sugar content (Brix) exceeding 8%. The plant is medium to tall, vigorous, with good leaf coverage, contributing to its resistance and productivity.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to a range of diseases, including Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. lycopersici (Fol:1), Fulvia fulva (Ff: A-E), Tomato mosaic virus (ToMV:0-1), Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. radicis-lycopersici (Forl), as well as nematodes Meloidogyne incognita and Meloidogyne javanica. However, resistance to nematodes may decrease at soil temperatures above 32°C. For optimal flavor and color intensity, provide adequate light and optimal temperature for the plants.

ROUZSTAR responds well to elevated potassium levels, which improves fruit flavor and extends storage life. The hybrid offers high yield potential and long storage life, making it competitive in the market.
