Tomato UG 124

Tomato UG 124 F1 is a medium-early determinate hybrid developed by Italian and American breeders. The plant is compact and has a strong structure, ensuring high fruit set even at high planting densities. The hybrid is adapted for cultivation in open ground and under temporary film coverings, preferring abundant sunlight. It grows well under various climatic conditions, including southern, central, and northern regions, thanks to its resistance to adverse weather and high temperatures.

The fruits of tomato UG 124 have a plum shape and a vibrant, deep red color. Average fruit weight ranges from 50 to 65 grams; they are juicy, flavorful, and have excellent transportability, making the hybrid popular in retail, restaurants, and food markets. Tomatoes maintain their market appearance for a long time and are suitable for canning and juice production. The vegetation period is approximately 75-120 days depending on growing conditions.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to a range of viral diseases, including tomato mosaic virus, fusarium, verticillium wilt, and leaf curl virus. Due to this, along with resistance to pests, chemical treatments can be minimized. To enhance yield, it is recommended to use fertilizers such as cow manure infusions, wood ash, and mineral fertilizers based on potassium and phosphorus. UG 124 F1 demonstrates stable productivity and is suitable for cultivation in spring, summer, and autumn.
