Description
Tomato Pink Pupsy — an early-maturing and high-yielding variety suitable for cultivation both in greenhouses and in open ground. The period from germination to the start of fruiting is 70–90 days. The plant is determinate, requires support, and should be pinched until the first flower cluster. The inflorescence is simple, with 3 to 5 fruits per cluster, each weighing 70–100 grams. The fruits have a beautiful pink color and heart-shaped form, resembling plump, smooth pink babies. They possess a good tomato flavor and aroma, belonging to the salad type.
Sowing seeds for seedlings is recommended in March or April, with transplanting at the stage of the first true leaf. Seedlings are transplanted into greenhouses in May. The variety is cold-resistant, allowing cultivation under various climatic conditions. Harvesting occurs from July to August. Seeds retain germination up to 10 years under proper storage conditions, and after expiration, the sowing rate should be increased.
Tomato Pink Pupsy is versatile in use: its fruits are excellent for fresh consumption, salad and snack preparation, as well as for stuffing, freezing, and canning. Thanks to its flavor and attractive appearance, this variety is an excellent choice for growers who prefer tasty and decorative tomatoes.
