ONIX

The ONIX tomato is an indeterminate, tall variety with egg-shaped fruits weighing about 60-80 grams. The plant reaches a height of 1.5 to 2 meters and is early maturing, ripening on average within 115-125 days after germination. The fruits have a smooth surface and unique coloring: they are green with longitudinal speckles when immature, and turn emerald-green with a yellowish tint, sometimes with a dark cherry or nearly black hue, upon ripening. The flesh is dense, slightly sweet, and has a harmonious flavor, making it excellent for salads and dietary use. The plant features simple or singly-branched inflorescences, bearing 2 to 8 fruits. The leaves are medium-sized and dark green. ONIX tomato is characterized by high market yield, reaching approximately 9.75 kg per square meter, and resistance to diseases and adverse weather conditions, ensuring stable harvests in unheated plastic greenhouses and open ground. Seedlings are planted in February-March, and harvesting occurs from July to September. The fruits are not prone to overripening or cracking, facilitating storage and transport. Due to its flavor and decorative appearance, ONIX tomato is suitable for both home cultivation and commercial production, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield.
