Tomato Donsky Cazak is a medium-early determinate variety suitable for both salad use and pickling. The plant reaches a height of about 1.5 meters, forming medium-density round fruits weighing approximately 150 grams. Unripe fruits have a light green color, while ripe ones turn into a rich maroon or red hue. The fruits are juicy, sweet, and well-structured, making them especially appealing for fresh consumption. The variety is characterized by high yield, particularly in the North Caucasus and Lower Volga regions. Dry matter content in the juice is about 5.8-5.9%, and total sugar content ranges from 3.0 to 3.8%, ensuring a pleasant sweet flavor. However, under sudden changes in weather conditions, the fruits may be prone to cracking, which should be considered during cultivation and harvesting. Additionally, there is a hybrid form, Tomato Donsky F1, which features a more compact growth (50-70 cm), early maturity, and high adaptability. The fruits of this hybrid have a distinctive 'nose', bright red color with high lycopene content (7.3 mg per 100 g), weight from 100 to 130 grams, and excellent transportability. The hybrid is resistant to several diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus, southern phytophthora, and alternaria, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in plastic greenhouses. Recommended for fresh consumption due to its flavor qualities and shelf life.
