Tomato Opera is an early indeterminate hybrid characterized by high yield and excellent taste qualities. The vegetation period ranges from 50 to 105 days depending on growing conditions, allowing for early harvest. Plants are strong, compact, up to 150 cm tall, with good leafiness. It is recommended to pinch off the plant to 1-2 stems for optimal growth and fruiting.
The fruits of tomato Opera are round, smooth, and even, weighing from 100-110 g to 160-180 g depending on growing conditions. They have a rich red color without green spots, multi-chambered structure, and dense flesh. The flavor is harmonious with a distinctly tomato aroma, making them ideal for fresh salads and home canning. The hybrid tolerates both low and high temperatures, maintaining good fruit set under such conditions.
Tomato Opera exhibits resistance to several diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, and fusarium, significantly simplifying care and increasing yield stability. Recommended planting scheme is 40x60 cm, with yield per plant reaching 5-5.5 kg, up to a maximum of 8.5 kg. Seedlings are sown at the end of March – beginning of April, followed by transplanting when the first true leaf appears, and planting in greenhouses is carried out at the end of April – mid-May.
