Tomato EMERALD LEMONADE

Technical Specifications and Plant Architecture

The «Ledenez Izumrudny» (Emerald Lollipop) tomato, developed by the Gavrish breeding firm, is a classic indeterminate hybrid designed for professional greenhouse production. Its high vigor requires strict plant management, specifically continuous pruning and vertical training, to maintain optimal airflow and light penetration across the canopy.

Fruit Morphology

The variety produces small, plum-shaped fruits weighing 20–40 grams. The structure of the fruit, characterized by a firm skin, provides excellent resistance to splitting under fluctuating humidity levels. The distinct coloration (yellow, brown, and pink) is a result of advanced selection by the Gavrish Research Institute, aimed at enriching the nutritional profile and aesthetic value of the harvest.

Cultivation and Performance

With a maturation period of 120–130 days, this variety falls into the mid-late category. To achieve maximum genetic yield potential, consider the following technical recommendations:

• Strict sucker management: prune to one or two main stems to optimize nutrient distribution.
• Fruit cluster regulation: if setting is overly dense, thin the clusters to ensure uniform fruit size.
• Potassium management: precise application during the fruit-filling stage is vital to express the full color spectrum of the cultivar.

Sourcing authentic seeds from the original developer, Gavrish, is critical. This ensures high seed vigor and uniformity, which is essential for maintaining consistent fruit shape and weight throughout the harvest cycle.
