Tomato NEPAS 14

Efficiency and simplicity: The «Nepas» line approach

The «Nepas» (non-suckering) tomato series by SDK-SIDS has established itself in the market as a primary solution for growers who prioritize efficiency and a rational approach to agriculture. The «NEPAS 14» model, developed by originators Sergey Dubinin and Alexandra Zharova in collaboration with Sedek, represents a specialized breed of determinate tomatoes designed to thrive with minimal intervention.

Technical characteristics and growth

This variety is classified as ultra-early ripening, with a growth cycle of just 90–100 days from seedling emergence to harvest. Because of its determinate nature, the plant naturally limits its height, effectively eliminating the need for labor-intensive pruning (suckering) that is typically required for indeterminate varieties.

• Fruit characteristics: Features a classic flat-round shape with a vibrant red color.
• Weight: Maintains a consistent range of 80–100 grams, making it highly versatile for both fresh market sales and whole-fruit canning.
• Yield: The plant delivers a concentrated harvest, which is critical for maximizing yields within a short seasonal window.

Market positioning and utility

In a market saturated with high-maintenance hybrids, «NEPAS 14» retains a strong position due to its predictable performance. SDK-SIDS has engineered this variety for compactness and resilience. It does not require complex trellising or constant structural management, making it an ideal choice for outdoor cultivation. For farmers and gardeners who seek to optimize labor costs without sacrificing quality, this variety offers a reliable solution. The blend of robust genetics and consistent fruit appearance ensures that «NEPAS 14» remains a staple for those valuing practical farming solutions.
