Tomato Kimmeriyets

A Reliable Choice for Industrial Tomato Production

The 'Kimmeriets' variety, developed by IZPR UAAN, is a proven determinate tomato known for its consistent performance. With a growing season of 90-100 days, it allows growers to strategically plan harvests, avoiding mid-summer heat stress and ensuring a steady flow of produce.

Key Advantages for Farming Operations

• Transportation and Marketability: The plum-shaped fruits feature a robust skin, ensuring excellent transportability. Whether shipping to processing plants or wholesale markets, the fruit arrives in top commercial condition.
• Processing Performance: With a dry matter content of 5.5-6.0%, this variety is highly suitable for industrial processing, including the production of tomato paste and sauces.
• High Yield Potential: Delivering 100-130 tons per hectare, 'Kimmeriets' is an economically viable option for large-scale operations.

The 80-100 gram fruit size is the industry standard for whole-peel canning and pickling. The compact, determinate plant habit minimizes labor costs by simplifying pruning and harvesting operations. For farmers focusing on yield stability and shelf life, this variety provides the efficiency required for modern agricultural practices.
