Morozko

Tomato Morozko is an early-maturing determinate hybrid developed by breeder L.A. Myazina. The fruit ripens in 90-95 days from emergence, allowing for a quick harvest. Plants of this variety are 55-75 cm tall, have few branches, and stop growing after forming the fifth flower cluster, thus requiring no pinching, although partial shaping of the plant is possible to accelerate fruit ripening.

The fruits of tomato Morozko are round, have a smooth and firm skin, and turn red upon full ripening. The weight of one fruit ranges from 140 to 200 grams; they are juicy, uniform, and resistant to cracking, ensuring good transportability. These tomatoes are excellent for fresh consumption, especially in salads, as well as for home cooking and various processing methods.

The hybrid is characterized by high yield — up to 6 kg per plant under proper agronomic practices, equivalent to 188-241 centners per hectare. Morozko is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus and fusarium wilt, and it shows resilience to adverse growing conditions. It is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic coverings, making it a versatile choice for various climatic conditions.
