Sagatan F1 tomato is an early-maturing, bush-type hybrid developed by Dutch breeders of Syngenta Seeds. This variety is characterized by its low stature, which facilitates cultivation in open ground. Fruit set begins 55-60 days after transplanting seedlings, allowing for early harvests. The plant exhibits high resistance to various diseases, including fusarium, phytophthora, tomato mosaic virus, tobacco mosaic virus, leaf yellowing virus, and verticillium, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in diverse climatic conditions, including Ukraine. Sagatan F1 tomato fruits have a round shape and vibrant, deep red color. Each fruit weighs 140-160 grams, which is a relatively large size for early-maturing varieties. Fruits are harvested with the stem intact, preventing cracking and enhancing storage and transport durability. The tomatoes have high quality, are resistant to green spot formation, and possess good flavor, making them suitable for fresh consumption, canning, and processing into tomato products. For successful cultivation of Sagatan F1 tomato, it is recommended to maintain infrequent but abundant watering and apply mineral fertilizers during the fruit set stage.
