Tomato variety Monisto Chocolate is a tall indeterminate plant with unlimited growth, reaching a height of about 1.4 meters. This mid-early variety matures in 110-120 days after emergence and is suitable for cultivation in open ground, plastic greenhouses, and glasshouses. For successful cultivation, it is recommended to train the plant as a single stem, removing suckers, and staking, especially in southern regions when grown outdoors.
The fruits of Monisto Chocolate tomato have an attractive emerald-brown or chocolate color with green streaks, round shape, and weight ranging from 20 to 40 grams. They are borne in long clusters containing 6 to 30 fruits, ensuring high yield up to 8.5 kg per square meter. The fruits feature dense, juicy, and very sweet flesh with a rich aroma. Thanks to the dense cluster structure and resistance to fruit drop, the tomatoes withstand transportation well and can remain on the plant for up to a week without quality loss.
