Tomato Monisto Amber is a medium-ripening indeterminate variety with a cluster-type fruiting pattern, characterized by high yield and decorative appearance. Plants of this variety reach up to 1.8 meters in height and require mandatory support on stakes, as well as regular pinching to form a single stem. The leaves are standard-sized, and plant formation improves ventilation and light exposure, positively affecting fruit quality.
The fruits of tomato Monisto Amber are small, weighing 20–30 grams, and have a characteristic plum-like shape. At maturity, they acquire a bright yellow-orange color with a honey-like tint, possess a sweet taste and a rich aroma. Fruits are harvested in long clusters of 14–16 pieces, ensuring uniform and abundant fruiting. The skin is thin, and the flesh is juicy, making them ideal for fresh consumption, dish garnishing, and whole-fruit canning.
This variety is recommended for cultivation primarily in greenhouses or under plastic coverings, especially in the middle belt, although with proper agronomic practices, it can also be grown outdoors with mandatory support. Sowing for seedlings is conducted in March, transplanting occurs at the first true leaf stage, and planting in greenhouses takes place after soil warming. Due to its taste qualities and decorative appearance, tomato Monisto Amber is excellent for preparing fresh salads, appetizers, and colorful canned assortments.
