Tomato Malinovy Bogatyr' is a determinant hybrid with medium-height stems, characterized by high yield and large fruits. It ripens 100-110 days after germination, making it a mid-early variety. Fruits are flat-round with more than six locules, weighing from 480 grams to over 1 kilogram, especially on lower clusters. The skin is strong and resistant to cracking, facilitating transport and storage.
The flesh is juicy with a pleasant texture, sweet with a delicate acidity, giving the fruits a delicate taste. Due to its steak-type flesh, the fruits are especially suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for canning, juice, ketchup, and various hot dishes. Tomato Malinovy Bogatyr' forms fruits well on the jointed peduncle clusters, facilitating harvest.
This variety is resistant to temperature fluctuations and fungal diseases, making it ideal for cultivation in Russia's climatic conditions. It is not demanding in growing conditions, but with proper care and feeding, it can produce up to 4-5 kg of fruit per plant and up to 15 kg per square meter. Historically, this variety was developed by a breeder from Chelyabinsk and is the parent of other well-known varieties. Malinovy Bogatyr' combines high productivity, resistance, and excellent taste qualities.
