Tomato MALINOVYE VINO

Focusing on Large Fruit Size and Flavor

The «Malinovoe Vino» (Raspberry Wine) tomato from NPO «Sad i Ogorod» is a breeding product tailored for farmers and home gardeners who prioritize fruit weight and market appeal. As a determinate variety, it eliminates the need for intensive pruning or complex trellis training, which saves significant labor during peak harvest seasons.

Unlike early-maturing hybrids, «Malinovoe Vino» is a mid-to-late variety (120–130 days). This growth period allows the plant to accumulate a higher concentration of sugars and micronutrients. The result is large, impressive fruits weighing over 200 grams, with a deep pink color—a clear indicator of a high content of lycopene and antioxidants.

Yield and Cultivation Insights

With a reported yield of 100–130 tons per hectare, this variety is capable of industrial-scale performance when managed properly. The rounded shape of the fruit makes it ideal for transportation, as these tomatoes are less prone to bruising and maintain their market quality much better than ribbed varieties.

• Key Strengths: High adaptability to various weather conditions, predictable yields, and the superior taste profile associated with high-quality pink tomatoes.
• Target Audience: Best suited for commercial growers serving the fresh market, as well as home gardeners focused on high-quality canning and dense, meaty tomato juices.

It is important to note that the determinate growth habit requires precise fertilization, as the main harvest ripens over a condensed timeframe. Once the plant hits peak fruit set, it will require support, as the weight of clusters bearing 200g+ tomatoes can be substantial.
