Lojain F1 tomato is a mid-early, high-yielding hybrid developed by Enza Zaden breeders from the Netherlands. This variety features a determinate plant type with a strong root system and well-developed foliage, providing reliable protection for fruits against sunburn. Lojain F1 is intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic covers, demonstrating high drought tolerance and the ability to form abundant fruit set even at extremely high temperatures. The fruits of Lojain tomato are round, dark red with a glossy finish, weighing between 160 to 200 grams. They are firm, uniform, and juicy, with succulent flesh of deep red color and an excellent sweet flavor. This hybrid exhibits high resistance to such diseases as mosaic virus, leaf curl, verticillium, and fusarium, as well as resistance to cracking under fluctuating soil moisture. Thanks to these qualities, the fruits maintain excellent marketability and storability, making them ideal for long-term storage and long-distance transportation. The fruiting period of Lojain tomato is 70–75 days after transplanting seedlings, and 100–120 days after planting.
