Malbek

Tomato Malbec F1 is an early indeterminate hybrid with a maturation period of 90 to 100 days, intended for cultivation in protected soil. The plant is strong, compact, and well-leafed, with medium internodes. The first fruiting cluster forms above the 9th–11th leaf and contains 4–5 round fruits; subsequent clusters form every three leaves. Fruits are large, weighing 180–220 grams, round, deep red, dense, and multi-chambered, with low tendency to cracking.

The hybrid exhibits excellent taste and market qualities, making it ideal for fresh consumption. Tomatoes have good keeping quality — up to 30 days without loss of flavor or appearance — and high transportability. Malbec F1 is resistant to high temperatures, sets fruit well under hot conditions, and demonstrates cold and drought tolerance, expanding its cultivation possibilities.

Special attention has been given to the hybrid’s resistance to a broad spectrum of diseases, including tomato bronze virus (TSWV), tomato mosaic virus (ToMV), tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV), fusarium and verticillium wilt, fusarium root rot, cladosporeiosis, and gall nematodes. Recommended for cultivation in all types of greenhouses, providing high yields exceeding 30 kg per square meter.
