Tomato LOWER LIEUTENANT

The 'Lower Lieutenant' tomato variety is a medium-ripening, high-yielding variety intended for cultivation in protected ground. The vegetation period is 112-115 days, allowing for a stable harvest throughout the season. The plant is indeterminate, reaching a height of about 170 cm, with moderate leafiness. The first flower cluster forms above the 8th-9th leaf, and subsequent clusters form every 1-2 leaves, totaling 7-8 clusters per stem. It is recommended to train the plant into one or two stems for optimal growth and yield. The fruits are round, light green in technical ripeness, and deep red in biological ripeness. The weight of one fruit when trained into a single stem is 100-140 grams. The fruits have a dense structure and high transportability, facilitating storage and transportation. The yield of ripe fruits reaches 75-80%, indicating the variety's high efficiency. The 'Lower Lieutenant' variety is valued for its excellent, rich tomato flavor and rich biochemical composition. The high dry matter content makes it particularly suitable for drying and curing, as well as for fresh consumption and home cooking. The yield of the variety reaches up to 5 kg per plant when trained into two stems, making it an attractive choice for gardeners and farmers seeking a high-quality, flavorful harvest.
