Colonel

The 'Colonel' tomato variety is a fast-maturing determinate type, successfully grown both in greenhouses and open fields. Fruits begin to ripen 95-100 days after planting, with the first cluster forming above the 6th-7th leaf. The plant has a compact height: about 90 cm in open ground, and 140-150 cm in protected environments. Due to its determinate nature, this variety can be grown without pinching, simplifying care and ensuring a stable yield.

The 'Colonel' tomato fruits are large, weighing 800-1000 grams, round or slightly flattened, with a slight ribbing and rich red color. The flesh has high sugar content and low organic acid levels, giving the fruit a distinctive flavor and making it especially delicious. Thanks to these qualities, the tomatoes are excellent for fresh consumption, as well as for making tomato paste, juice, ketchup, and relish.

The variety exhibits high resistance to diseases and adverse weather conditions, ensuring a stable yield. In protected environments, productivity reaches 9-10 kg per square meter.
