Tomato Goltyansky

A Product of Ukrainian Selection: The «Goltyanskyi» Tomato

The «Goltyanskyi» tomato represents a reliable milestone in Ukrainian agricultural selection, developed by experts at the Cherkasy Institute of Agro-Industrial Production (NAAS). This variety has stood the test of time, earning a reputation among farmers who prioritize a balance between rapid harvest cycles and high resistance to common fungal pathogens.

Agronomic Profile and Performance

The primary advantage of this variety is its accelerated vegetation rhythm. Reaching maturity in under 90 days, «Goltyanskyi» falls firmly into the ultra-early category, providing a significant competitive edge to producers aiming to supply the market early in the season.

• Disease Resistance: The variety exhibits strong genetic resistance to late blight (Phytophthora), significantly reducing the need for intensive fungicide spraying.
• Fruit Quality: The flat-round shape ensures consistent packing and an attractive retail presentation.
• Versatility: Due to its balanced flavor profile, it performs exceptionally well both as a fresh-market crop and as a reliable source for industrial or home processing into juices and pastes.

Seed material from the Cherkasy Institute is renowned for its phenotypic stability. Choosing «Goltyanskyi» means relying on local genetics specifically tailored to Ukrainian climatic conditions. It is an efficient, no-nonsense variety for those who value predictable yields and robust performance in the field.
